Trade with BloodyIndifferent. :iconbloodyindifferent:

This is her character, Stefka l'Morceau. He is some sort of nifty-type.

...This was an interesting artistic experience. The discovered that the board I was painting on was kinda...waxy. The paint didn't want to stick. So we ended up with some very curious textures and soft shapes. :bucktooth:
...Digital background, 'cause I was tired of fighting the paint.

But, yeah, this was really fun to draw. Indifferent has some truly interesting character designs. :D

Do you know that you are amazing with watercolor? Because you are. ;_; It's like one of my favorite medias and I really need to practice with it but I usually just cop out and use watercolor pencils instead. x[

The colors here are so vibrant and gorgeous and everything is so defined and essentially it's everything I wish my own watercolor pieces were. l3 And your style really brings out his character, Iluvitsomuch :heart: Basically, thank you! I'll get on my side as quickly as humanly possible... I really need to get to work on my trades. ^^;
I'm so glad you like it!
I used to use watercolor pencils a lot, but I didn't like having so little control over it. I could never get the textures smooth enough...Maybe I'm just heavy-handed with the pencils. *Shrug*
But I have more and nicer colors in my little tubes, too. I love my tubes. :heart:

Going through your gallery, I found myself getting really interested in this character. It seems that you've put so much thought into him and his story. I'm really interested in finding out more. *Hint, hint, hint, enormous hint.* ;)

Thanks for the trade, m'dear! :heart:

Whoa this took a while to respond to for some reason. xx Super sorry for that!

I've never used watercolor pencils all by themselves, really - I use them in conjunction with prismacolor markers. The ink moistens the pencil work and makes it look like actual watercolors kinda! When I actually use real watercolors I use the dried stuff. What's it like using the tubes? I've never used tubed watercolors before. o:

Trust me, you'll be seeing a lot more Stefka; he's... like... my favorite character. :B I really need to do something (writing a story/comic maybe?) to bring more light to his back story, though. ^^;
Ah, the tubes are great. They've got some runniness to them, obviously, in the medium, which means that if you need ultra-concentrated color, you can actually just dip your brush in the stuff with no water at all! :O
